Meet Dr. Winborn

I am a native Arkansan and am happy to serve western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma.

I have been dedicated to providing the latest in dental technology through my private practice in Fort Smith, AR - July 1999 to the present.

Office Workers

Sami Williamson, RDA

Office Manager

Sami is the Office Manager for Winborn Family Dentistry and was Dr. Winborn’s first Arkansas dental assistant in 1999 with a total of 14 years dental experience. 


She has an Associate’s Degree from UAFS and is a graduate of Petra Allied Health. She moved to Washington DC and then back to Arkansas in 2005, where she worked with Dr. Winborn again in Northwest Arkansas. Since 2016, she has worked with Dr. Winborn in Fort Smith. Our patients and team enjoy her enthusiastic attitude and friendly face at the front desk. She is our insurance and billing expert, always ready to help with your questions and concerns. Her previous dental assisting years allow her to coordinate patient scheduling and maximize each patient’s insurance benefits. 


She and her wonderful husband, Chris, have two sons, and a Bernedoodle. We enjoy watching cooking shows and going for walks with our sweet pooch! 


Elizabeth "Lisa" Scheidt

Patient Coordinator

Lisa has worked with Dr. Winborn for the last 18 years. She is a native of Kansas. She is dedicated to helping patients with every stop of their dental visit. From helping patients when they walk through the door, scheduling, their appointments, to processing their insurance claims. 


She has a daughter and two granddaughters. She enjoys meeting new people, spending time with family and friends, and watching the Razorbacks. Her hobbies include music, sports, and going to the lake.


Registered Dental Hygienists

Casey Winborn, RDH

Casey grew up in Van Buren, AR, and is a graduate of Van Buren High School. She attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR before getting her Bachelor of Science Dental Hygiene degree from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. She has been a dental hygienist for 22 years and has been with Winborn Dentistry for 20 years. She has always enjoyed working at Winborn Dentistry because of the great patients, wonderful family-like team, quality of care provided, and warm welcoming environment.


She values time with her family, and she enjoys cooking, gardening, outdoor activities, and traveling.

Bethany Kuper, RDH

Bethany is one of our registered dental hygienists, who has worked with Winborn Dentistry for 18 years.  She grew up in Fort Smith, a Southside High School graduate, and later graduated with an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Dental Hygiene from University of Arkansas Fort Smith.  She began working for Dr. Winborn in 2002-2005 at the front desk and then returned in 2008 as a registered dental hygienist.  She believes we have the best patients, and best team, who always strive to provide outstanding quality of care in a team focused environment.


She enjoys spending time with family, anything and everything outside from gardening and yard work, to camping, and kayaking; homemaking, listening to audiobooks and podcasts. 

Registered Dental Assistants

Keyla Avila, RDA

Keyla is a registered dental assistant in the state of Arkansas and has been working with Dr. Winborn since March 2021. She is bilingual and enjoys all of our amazing patients. She is a graduate of Van Buren High School and Petra Allied Health. She enjoys reading, working out, photography, music, watching basketball, soccer, and of course spending time with family.

Kari Clark, RDA

Kari is a registered dental assistant with the state of Arkansas and has been in dentistry for over 39 years. Originally from southern California, she lives in Van Buren with her husband of 40 years, Stanley, who is a Van Buren retired Fire Marshall. The Clarks have two daughters and four grandchildren. Kari enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and spending time with family and friends on Lake Ouachita.
