Preventive Dentistry - Cleanings and Checkups
Dr. Winborn & his team know the best way to keep your smile healthy and looking great is to
keep it clean and catch small problems before they develop into big problems. Our patients have complete
teeth cleanings every six months.
Restorations - Fillings
Dr. Winborn uses tooth-colored fillings for his dental restorations.
Composite resin is used to match the color of your tooth.
Other restorative options are tooth-colored porcelain inlays and onlays. These are useful
when there is not enough tooth structure to support a filling, but enough remains that you do not
need a crown.
Root Canal Treatment
If root canal therapy is required; a small opening is made in the top of the
tooth to expose the tisue inside the tooth. The diseased pulp is removed and the cleaned space is
filled. Then, Dr. Winborn restores the top of the tooth with a crown.
Periodontal Treatment
Keeping the tissue around your teeth is essential if you want to have strong,
beautiful teeth that will last a lifetime. Dr. Winborn and his highly skilled hygienists take pride in
helping maintain their patients healthy smiles.
Geriatric Dentistry
Age-related dental problems such as tooth wear, missing teeth, staining
and dry-mouth are important to treat. Comprehensive dental treatment is essential throughout one's

Tooth Extractions
Dr. Winborn only uses extractions as a last resort, when there are no other
options for saving a tooth. A dental implant is an excellent option for replacing a missing tooth.
Removable Prosthodontics
If you have lost teeth, Dr. Winborn can help you replace them with
dentures, metal-free partials, or even implant supported dentures.
